Emma's Senior Prom ~ 2019

Y'all!  This doesn't get any easier with each child.  It is bittersweet to see my babies growing up and moving on with their big plans.  I know this is part of the parenting gig, but oh my gosh.  This is hard and at the same time, so exciting.

Over the weekend, Miss Emma went to her senior prom with friends.  She looked like a princess and had the best time of her life.

Here are some photos I'm sharing from her special day and night...

(The temperature dropped the night before and the wind was crazy gusty. It was so chilly!)

It was the annual Texas Christian Homeschool Prom with 1,850 students in attendance.  Miss Emma wasn't shy, especially when she got on stage with the DJ and mic in hand to sing the song, Thank You, Next.  Hahaha!  That's my girl.

Senior year is rounding third base about now.  There isn't much left with maybe 5 weeks of school work and preparing for graduation.  We will be flying out to D.C. again to attend the Seton Home Study School graduation ceremony.

We are so proud of her!

  1. She is lovely. I love how elegant she and the other girls look. I enjoyed my visit. New here.

  2. Stunning - beyond stunning - her hair, jewelry, and that DRESS! Such a classical, beautiful dress! She's right out of an 1940's movie!

  3. Wow! That's a huge homeschool prom. What fun :)

Thanks for stopping by!
