The Feast of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is the patron of our home school.  She was a widow with five children, a convert, a nun, and she started the first parochial school in the United States.  Calling her courageous is an understatement!

Clementine had a play date at a friend's house that day, and my friend (the mom who hosted), had a sweet way (excuse the pun) to celebrate the feast day.  The kids frosted the cookies black and white, a representation of St. Elizabeth's habit.

I LOVE how tangible the Catholic faith is!

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us!
