What's for Sunday dinner?

Kicking off the weekend with a Back-to-School Mass (for our home school group) followed by donuts in the park and playing in the splash pad.

Do you have big plans for the weekend?  We have quite a few fun events planned on our family calendar.

For Sunday dinner I am going to make this bacon-wrapped chicken recipe (here).

I think a side of green beans will go nicely.  And for dessert, I plan on making an apple pie served with vanilla ice cream.  Yum!

Have a great weekend and a blessed Sunday!

  1. It's hard to believe y'all are just starting school...we only have 3 more weeks until fall break, which means the 1st 9 weeks of school will be in the books!
    Love that 1st picture...that's frame worthy! :)

    1. My family actually has only has three weeks left in the first quarter. With homeschoolers, every family's start time is different and for a back-to-school Mass, we pick a date that is best for the majority of the homeschool group :) My kids always start the end of July though, due to the heat down here in TX. :)
