Let the Good Times Roll!

There were a flurry of activities for everyone the week between Christmas and New Year's.

Stan the man was invited to an all-boys Star Wars party where they had hot dogs, chips, juice boxes, and viewed Return of the Jedi.  Imagine 21 boys partying it up over Star Wars ;)   Oh my word.

The ( brave and pregnant) hostess has a daughter close to Miss Clementine's age, so we brought her back to play princess at our house :)

It was probably much safer for her!  Ha ha!

I had organized a Top Golf outing for a group of 20 high schoolers.  It was a bit chilly, but good friends, (moms and teens), hot cocoa, and laughter made the morning so much fun!

And yes, that would be Stan the Man up in the top right corner.  With a shortage of babysitters, I brought him along, and he sure had fun!

There were some biology dissections taking place on my kitchen table...

(Home school dissection labs can be found on the Internet.  That is also our new microscope...found a great sale price on Amazon just before Christmas!)

I had a dental appointment.  So that's never fun.  I had to replace one of my old, old, old silver fillings.

Our favorite part of that week was when my younger sister and her family arrived from KC for a few nights.

Meals shared.

Hotel pool was a hit.

And while the guys had all the kids at the movies, my sister and I were doing this.

What a peaceful few hours! Ha ha!

New Year's Eve was spent together on a friend's ranch.

(The party was originally for all the home school parents.  Only a few couples RSVP'd a yes, so we thought it would be fun to bring the kids.)

A few fireworks to ring in the New Year.

The hosts threw such a great New Year's party.  Everyone enjoyed themselves :)

The evening of January 1 found Miss Clementine like so...

As my sister said, "Someone partied too hard!"

And that, my friends, is a wrap.

Praying that your 2016 finds you blessed in spirit and health.  May God keep you always!
