What's for Sunday dinner?

We will be finishing up the last of the semester papers and tests on Saturday, and I am hoping to put up the big tree this weekend as well.  I figured a crock pot dinner on Sunday would be best.

One of my favorite memories as a child is coming home from school to the heavenly smell of Italian beef cooking.  Oh my word.

This Italian Beef recipe is so crazy easy.  Shredded on buns....Mmm...Mmm...Mmm!

It should be a fun weekend as we celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas tomorrow, finishing school, and putting up some more of the Christmas decorations.  What do y'all have going on?

Have a great weekend and a blessed SECOND Sunday of Advent!

  1. Sounds good, Patty!!!!
    Enjoy your weekend. : )
My men are back at camp, in search of the elusive buck...
The girls and are snuggles in against the freezing rain playing games and watching movies. : )

  2. It sounds like a blissful weekend in TX. We just finished putting up our big tree in the living room after doing the majority of the other décor yesterday. Reed will take advantage of the near 30 degree weather and put up a few outdoor Christmas decorations and lights. Jonah has a piano performance on tv this evening to attend, despite him still not in full good health. It's for a local charity event for families in need who get food and gifts for the holidays when they couldn't normally afford it. It's televised on a local channel and they had tryouts a few weeks ago to round out their 35 acts that will perform in the 5 hours it's televised. It would be so much more fun if kiddos felt better. That will be my other hope for the weekend: at least someone feeling closer to 100%.

Your Sunday dinner sounds most yummy and is making my mouth water. Hope finals went well and you are on vacation!! yay!

Thanks for stopping by!
