(Pretty) Smelling Drawers

The new, scented drawer liners arrived in the mail for Miss Clementine's dresser drawers.

That beautiful antique had quite the  musty odor inside of its' drawers.

The paper is embossed with roses...

...and makes the inside smell and look so pretty now.

I ended up purchasing them on Amazon here, since I could not find them anywhere in stores.

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Hi Patty! We got a bedroom set from my mother-in-law when she died. It's a beautiful set, but the drawers definitely smell musty. I tried some scented beads from Bed, Bath and Beyond because it said it could eliminate any odors...except mine of course.
How are these papers working? I would really like to get that smell out of the furniture. Let me know, ok?
    Blessings!

    1. Hi Ceil, after reading the reviews on Amazon, I went with it. I know they were a little pricey, but the "cheaper" ones (different brand) had less than stellar reviews. After 24 hours, I love it. You can definitely smell the lavender, but I do not think it is overpowering. I think it depends on how sensitive you are to smells. Also, I do not have clothes in her drawers yet. (She is sharing a closet with us for now, since it is easier.) Maybe if I did, the scent would be even less, again, I do not think it is bad as it is right now. Totally worth it. Different boxes come with different size sheets. This box had six sheets, and for what cutting I had to do, it was quite simple. Hope that helps!

  2. How is it I'm completely out of the loop on such an item as scented sheets??!! These are so cool. I'll have to remember them as I have an old armoire and dresser that could probably use them. Thanks for posting this idea for those of us who are unaware. lol.

    1. My sister gave me the idea when she scent me scented soap for Christmas and told me to use it in my drawer that holds my "unmentionables" :) I was afraid Miss C would get into the soap, so I realized that they had scented paper liners out there. I feel so "English" and "proper" right now ;)
