The Watermelon Chomp

My flower planting was interrupted by some serious watermelon chomping.

Temps have hugged the 90 degree mark  - plus -  finals week is this week (Can I get an AMEN?)  =  Summer Bucket List Manifestation!!

  1. We don't usually get our first watermelon until the 4th of July...just a family tradition...but if I had temps in the 90's already, I would be eating watermelon now, too!

  3. Hi Patty! I am a little jealous of your weather. We're still trying to crack the 60's! Such great pictures of the flushed faces and the watermelon chomping. They were busy! Couldn't help but notice the sidewalk chalk too. I love that stuff. So much fun!
Have fun with your Summer list :)

    1. Don't feel too bad. Our summer heat will soon arrive. The real stuff. And then our summer heat will keep us indoors like your winter keeps y'all indoors in January. Sidewalk chalk is a must for kiddos, isn't it? :)

    1. Thanks, Tara. Don't forget, we start school a lot earlier. Before we know it, July will be here and we will start again.
