Horse Camp 2014

Due to the miserable summer heat, the girls switched to spring break horse camp this year.

Monday - Friday, they left the house at 7:20am and arrived back home, (dirty, dusty & tired), at 5:30pm.

On Friday afternoon, the groups put on a horse show for the parents :)

This was Miss Ester's fourth year of horse camp ::

And Miss Mabel's second year of horse camp ::

Future rider ::

(With their instructor, Miss Stephanie. )

    1. Thanks, Billie Jo! Little miss britches is NOT afraid of horses. She's all ready to get on one herself ;)

    1. I think they are lucky, too. They, on the other hand, would feel like they were in heaven if we owned a horse ;)

  4. Thanks on the "new look" compliments. For those who are familiar with Texas wildflowers, those are Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes up in that picture. They bloom beautifully and profusely in (mainly) the hill country of Texas. I took that photo four years ago.

  6. Oh man, horse camp sounds like so much fun and something my girls would love (well at least Anna) Ester looks really comfortable and at easy way up there! So glad that they had a fun week and were able to do something so special! What did the rest of your kids do during the week off? Are you ready to get back into school tomorrow? Enjoy! xoxo tara

    1. Thanks, Tara. Sally had swim team practice. That school district has this upcoming school week off for spring break and the swim team follows that district's schedule. Stan the man and little britches pretty much played outside since we had fantastic weather. We made it to the park a couple of times, which sadly, I do not do as much with the little kids as I did when the older ones were little. Ready to get back...9 weeks left!
