9:20 am

I decided not to fear making home made Biscotti, (for the Feast of St. John Bosco this Friday.)  The result?

By 9:20 am my kitchen looked like this...

Just to conquer my fear of Biscotti.

And we (Mabel and I) hit a grand slam on our first at bat!  (Recipe and pics to come - after we've tidied up. Ha ha!)

    1. Yes you did! I sometimes have those hair brain ideas that take control of me...and I don't regret this one. My house has smelled divine all day long!

  2. Oh good, so it's not just my house. Except I didn't even try to make homemade biscotti today. I just tried to live and the toddler tornado twins (our new favorite name for them) successfully had made my house ready for Dump of the Year award. Thinking on it, that was probably about by your 9:20 mark. lol.
Cannot wait to see the yumminess and again complain that we aren't neighbors so I can come eat some with you. :)

    1. Ha ha ha! I don't know how you do it with your tornado twins! My one toddler can make me sprout gray hair in no time at all! And I love the term, Dump of the Year award! Haha! That was certainly my kitchen yesterday.

  5. So funny. I got such a kick out of this. As for the biscotti... a friend of mine brought some to my house for an event recently. There were some left over and I told her to take them home b/c I didn't care for them. She insisted I keep them "for the kids." So, I did, then preceded to eat the entire box! Apparently I love them. In other words, I look forward to seeing your recipe!

    1. You know, I only like it dipped in my coffee or tea. An Italian priest told me the story behind biscotti and it is really interesting. I'll have to include it in my recipe.
