What's Happenin'?

What we've been up to...

Finals week.

Holy! Toledo!

Tomorrow is the last day.  Praise be to God!!!

(Honestly, I have never been more ready to be done with school then this spring!)

What we are doing this weekend....

Honoring the men and women who have served and still serve to protect our freedoms!  God bless you all!

Next week...

Working on my annual Summer Bucket List.  (More to come!)

Eighth Grade Graduation Mass!  So excited!  So grateful for priests who support home schoolers!

....hoping this guy...

will give Miss Sally and I the green light to go on our planned 8th graduation trip (mother/daughter) to here...

Yeah.  We have airline tickets for next Saturday, June 1.

A few Hail Mary's would be nice, ya'll...because after 9 years of homeschooling....that's something to celebrate!

We will know more next Tuesday afternoon.

Have a blessed Memorial weekend!

God bless our troops!

  1. Oh my!!!! We live 30 minutes from that house. If you need anything please let us know. We'd love to pop down and point you in the right direction!

    1. You are so lucky to be in the vicinity of so many amazing museums and awesome history! This will be Sally's first time, my fourth. We are flying into Baltimore (save $$), renting a car and staying on the beltway near the metro station. Your offer is so sweet and kind!!! I never get tired of visiting that much to see and do!

    2. Here's a fun deal around town right now.
It's a whopping $7 a ticket and it's a fun way to see another side of the monuments. You get on at K and 31st. Looks like the Georgetown side. Inbox me at and I'll send you the link.
