Bloomin' Cactus

I had to show you my Prickly Pear Cactus in bloom.  I planted it 2 years ago and it is finally blooming!

Bright yellow AND orange.

The blooms will turn into a fruit, which is used in jelly.

Hope your day is filled with lots of sunshine and bright colors, too!

  1. So pretty! My neighbors brought one of them back from AZ a few yrs ago. It's huge and beautiful, but the difference is....it's never bloomed in the MN climate! (poor cactus)

  3. Absolutely beautiful! Things are starting to green up around here and my lillies are poking through. I think that spring has finally sprung in MN!
