WHY?

WHY   is it that someone cannot figure out that the alligator just wants to eat the bigger number of the two??!!

And  WHY  do moments like this happen when PMS is...like... at its worst... in a couple of years??!!

And WHY does the birthday cake fly out of the house so dang fast??  Especially when it is most needed on days like today...with a cup of Joe!

Sheesh!

Thank God tomorrow is Friday!

    1. I guess that did sound confusing a bit, huh? Well, one student was being introduced to greater than/ less than, and the alligator (sideways V) always opens up to, (eats) the bigger number. Maybe if I have said student drawer in teeth, the visual may help with comprehending?? LOL

  4. Here's one "better" for ya - we got a call at 11:30 that someone wanted to show our house at 6:30. So we ditched school for the afternoon, cleaned the entire house and then left to do all the afterschool activities and pick up supper (McDonalds...ugh!) only to come home and discover that they NEVER SHOWED UP!

Like you said TGIF - here's hoping for a better tomorrow!

  7. Oh Patty, you made me giggle! As an adult and former classroom teacher, I just DON'T understand the confusion...but as a child...OH MY...I have the worst memories...all involving tears over great than less than. I found that "unclosed triangle" symbol, simply frustrating!!! Question...is said child a "lefty"? By chance? I was left-handed and always wondered if my frustration was over sometimes viewing things through a "backwards" lens! LOL

I always keep a stash of baking chips for this very emergency! :)

    Blessings,
    Val

    1. yes, a lefty! I did everything except make paper numbers and eat the bigger one myself! LOL Alas, Friday's math went smoother, thank God! My tear jerker moment in school was fractions in fifth grade. Unfortunately, my sweet nun of a teacher only knew one way to teach them and my brain was not going to accept that way.
