Flashback!

We never really mentioned this before, but...

The day Clementine was born, they found a heart murmur...which lead to an echo...which lead to the discovery of two small heart defects...which lead to David and I losing some years off of our lives because "we've been there, done that" with Ester.

Well...

Today, Clementine received a great report!

(She had a repeat EKG - above picture - and a repeat Echocardiogram.)

She did a great job!

Do you realize how hard it is for an active 7 week old to hold still for 10 seconds?!

Her two defects are closing so well that they gave her clearance from further cardiac exams pertaining to the defects.

A HUGE sigh of relief!

Praise God!  Thank you St. John of God for your intercessory prayers!

  2. You really have had your share of God's Love these days. He must really want you close to HIM! I am so happy that the news was good. We also have "been there done that" with a 6 year old actually needing open heart surgery. That was a rough time but it did bring us closer to God.

    1. Thank, Neen! What did your six year old have? Our Ester had two VSD's and needed surgery at 5 months. It was a rough time indeed. Only through the grace of God did we make it.
