Great Wolf Lodge

We all had such a fantastic time.

They have been asking us to go for years....but it always seems so expensive.

(The girls love speed and have no fear.  They hit all the slides on their own.)

When I saw those half-price tickets for home school families last was a Cha-ching moment for sure.

(Stan's favorite was the wave pool.  The girls all rotated playing with him since he was too short for the big slides.)

I brought our own snacks, drinks, and breakfast food.  We ordered out pizza for the birthday dinner and I had brought in  frosted cookies for a birthday treat.

Definitely a great celebration of life!!

Came home with chlorine brain.  Big time!  So Stan and I napped Friday afternoon.

Even with naps, we were all in bed for the night by 8:30pm!!

Saturday was a school day and it wasn't bad since we just had two days off.  (I'm a real stickler for keeping up with the schedule.)

Since we went to Saturday night mass, Sunday will bring some good old-fashioned R&R!

May you have a peace filled Sunday!

  1. So glad you guys had a great time! It doesn't look like it was too crowded either :)

  2. what fun. We've got a similar place not too far from where we live, and we've been there once, and had a blast. what a wonderful birthday celebration.

  3. That looks like so much fun! We have Wilderness Lodge near here, but I've never gone. YS's band went 2 years ago, and they had a great time.

  4. Oh what a blast! I have never heard of this Wolf Lodge. ..It it only in TX? Thanks for sharing fun photos:)
