Would You Like Some Tea?

Our Little Flowers and  Little Women  held their annual tea party on Saturday.  And it was just lovely!

The Little Women organized it under the guidance of Miss Stephanie (one of the moms) and Miss Elizabeth (another mom) who hosted the party at her house.

Back in April, when I taught the Little Flowers Loyalty, Miss Stephanie taught the Little Women Sewing and Modesty.

They sewed their own aprons as a project...

On our way to the tea party.

The girls tea table...just too cute!

Back in April, we had to cancel our 2nd meeting.  I had originally planned this for our craft.  I saved it and the Little Flowers worked on it at the Tea Party.

While they painted, the Little Women set out the food.

Each of the Little Women brought finger sandwiches and a dessert.  There was a delicious variety and it all tasted so good!

Sally and Ester made egg salad sandwiches, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and black bottom cupcakes.

There was also punch.  Pink of course!

16 very hungry young ladies saying "cheese" for a mother's camera.

And you cannot forget the games.  The Little Women picked out the 3 games that were played and Miss Stephanie supplied the prizes.

Way back in September, Miss Elizabeth, (who is an amazing cook), taught the  Cooking  lesson to the Little Women.  They were to cook and bake all through the year and then turn in their recipe cards in May.

She gave very thoughtful prizes to the top three contributors.

Sally won first prize (a book to hold recipes), by cooking the most recipes (14).  She was very happy :)

We are finished for the summer now.  Next September, the Little Flowers will start Wreath III and the Little Women will start the brand new   Little Women's manual II.

A big thank you to Miss Stephanie and Miss Elizabeth for your time, thoughtfulness, and for guiding the girls through their tea party plans.

  1. What a great afternoon for you and the girls!!

  2. How beautiful Patty! I bet the girls loved it. I know that the girls and moms look forward to ours each year.

We'll start Wreath III of Little Flowers this fall and Lily is already asking if we can do the Little Women after that. Hopefully we can and I can head it up again.

  3. What a very special party and celebration! I would love something like that with my daughter:) I'm going to check out the Little Women book now! Congrats to Sally for making 14 things...fantastic!

  4. the Little Women did a wonderful job on the party. Everything looks wonderful, and was put together so nicely. Of course Sally had the most contributions -- she's been showing us all her wonderful creations!!! I love the picture of you and your three young ladies.

  5. What fun! It looks like a magical girls' time together. My daughters all would have loved something like this when they were younger.

Thanks for stopping by!
