Get Over It

One quick cure for a self-pity party...turn on the Weather Channel.

Goodness gracious!  There has been so much loss and destruction this spring.  So very, very sad and tragic.

Uploading photos last night, I came across pure, unadulterated joy.

From The Littles no less.

Seeing this makes me want to  "get over it" and smile as well.

Total joy!

Thanking God for my family and shelter these past couple of days...praying for all those that have lost so much.

  2. Yes, this has been an unusually stormy spring (that took so very long to arrive in MN). We've already spent a good amount of time in the basement with the sirens wailing outside. The tornadoes missed our area, but were very close to some dear friends of ours. We continue to pray for all those who have lost so much - in MN and all around the country.

And thanks for the reminder - life is GOOD! Enjoy every minute that we're blessed with - especially those smiling little faces who look to you for example. :-)

  3. Adorable pics of your little ones. They certainly do help us to enjoy the little things in life.

And you're right about the Weather Channel. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for those affected by the Joplin, MO tornado. As our neighbors to the south by only 2.5 hours, many of our husbands and wives have deployed as first responders. The destruction is unimaginable and I'm sure our loved ones will also need prayers for all the destruction of property and loss of life that they witness.

  4. Such a real and truthful post. The children always bring pure joy when we really need it, don't they? We are also praying for those affected by the storms. Sending you a hug:-)

  5. Can you believe the weather? I heard they're expecting more tornadoes in Joplin today. Unreal. I think God is trying to get through to us...hope people listen.

  6. Definite reality check, things could be so much worse. Praying with you, Patty!

Thanks for stopping by!
