Kids In the Kitchen

**I need to start with good news ~ my brother Mike's test is done and it went smoothly.  He had his x-ray and echocardiogram done in March, heart MRI today, and stress tests in May.  They'll use this time to study all the results from March and April and map out a course of treatment for him.   Results won't be back until May 10.  Thank you for the prayers!**

Sally was busy in the kitchen  Palm Sunday weekend.  She was going through my recipe binder and decided to try out this recipe.

Chocolate Chip Marble Pound Cake

1 yellow cake mix
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. oil

1/2 (6oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chocolate syrup

1. Grease and flour bundt pan.  Mix all ingredients together.  Pour 1/3 batter into pan.

2.  To the second 1/3 mixture, add: chocolate chips and chocolate syrup.  Mix well.  Spoon over first mixture/layer.

3.  Spoon  the last 1/3 of mixture over all.  Stir with a knife to marble the batter.  Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.

Sally used the Hines Chocolate Glaze (ready to pour).  It was less expensive than if she had made it from scratch.

**I had received this recipe from my friend, Sondra, and it tastes as good as it looks!**
