Christmas Bakers

What do you get when you throw a group of 18 girls, young ones and tweens, into a kitchen with baking supplies?

Inspiration!

Our Little Flowers Club and Little Woman's Hospitality Group had their annual Christmas cookie bake and exchange.

Mothers brought the dough and supplies....the girls did all the rest.  They were amazing to watch!

The big girls helped the little girls...everyone took turns....rotating as another family walked into the door to jump into the mix.

Then they decorated...

and feasted.

And when you are the baby of a family of five kids...

and mama is in a hurry to get out the door...

sometimes, you get the "dust" cloth instead of the baby "burp" cloth!

The cookies were then beautifully arranged at the dining room table.  The girls walked around picking out cookies to place on their trays to take home.

All was well with the world....

I want to give a big shout out to Elizabeth...who graciously opened her home for this beautiful tradition.  Thank you!

Advent blessings~

  1. This is how I remember our home at CHRISTmas time when I was little. My mom always had a day for baking cookies and treats. Great pics! I hope you come over and enter my great giveaway offered by Crayola. Have a blessed week.
