Our Little Girl...

And I still cannot believe how fast that happened!

After a very bumpy ride, Little Miss Sally came into the world weighing 8 lbs 12 oz.  She never slowed down...walking (practically running) at 9 months of age.

Her daddy named her...and from the moment they met, they became the dynamic duo.

At the age of two, she had become a big sister and developed a fondness for Elmo.

By the time she turned three, she was all about Barbie.  The Happy Family Barbie line...it was her favorite and she still has the house.

When Sally turned four, she was a big sister for the second time.   We put her in pre-school at the local, Catholic grade school. With a new house being built and a third baby...I didn't have enough confidence in handling homeschooling at that moment in time.

That all changed by the time she turned five years old.  And we've never looked back, praise God!

Sally inherited my eyesight...poor girl...with glasses by the age of six.  She inherited her daddy's unnatural upper body strength and received her first compound bow at that same time.

She went on to make her mark in the local area 3-D shoots...winning two "gold" medals by the time she was seven years old.

Shortly before turning eight and moving south, Sally started bow-fishing with her dad.  (Below is a picture of her first short-nosed gar.)

Sally had been growing  into a confident and mature young lady.  She turned nine too quickly and double digits came even faster!

At the age of  11, she continues growing into quite the soldier of Christ.  Her faith is so much stronger and deeper than mine was at that age.  It blows me away.  What a blessing to be able to home school!

Next to her faith, what impresses us most is her beautiful ability to converse with any person of any age.  She has an awesome personality.

We are in awe of the person she has already grown into.

From this morning....

And now we are off to have some birthday fun!
