Recipe Swap

Teresa is on a blogging break.  Since I've become hooked on her recipe sharing, I am still go to post this today.

Marinated Asparagus


1 bundle of fresh asparagus
1/4 cup of chopped pecans
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1/2 cup of cider vinegar
1/2 cup of sugar

Boil asparagus for 4-5 minutes.  While it is boiling, mix together the soy sauce, cider vinegar, sugar, and pecans.  Set aside.   Drain asparagus and iimmediately place in bowl of cold water.  When chilled, drain and place in pan.  Pour sauce over asparagus, cover, and refrigerate overnight.  Bring to room temperature to serve.
